Weddings are one of my favourite services to offer as there is nothing like that moment when a bride sees herself in her dress for the first time. Being part of such a special day in a couple’s life is an honour and being able to create their dream vision is a huge passion of mine.
Everyone’s day is different so I offer various options for you to include on your day:

Soft Furnishings
Soft furnishings really do just finish off a room. They are the little extra touches that bring everything together, creating the style and feel that you’ve always wanted. You’ll be wanting to have everyone over to share the joy of the space you have designed.
There are so many ways to dress a room, so please see below all the options that I offer:

Alterations
Do you ever wish that you could revive that favourite pair of jeans that just need a new zip or that coat that you want to jazz up with some funky buttons to bring it back to life? Look no further! I offer alterations for any and every item of clothing you can think of. Don’t throw your clothes away because they now don’t fit or just need some tlc, bring them to me and we can bring them back to life.
- Zips- coats, trousers, jeans, dresses, jackets, and any other zips required.
- Shortening/lengthening of trousers, skirts, dresses, coats, any other form of clothing.
- Creating a piece of clothing into something else- blouse to dress, trousers to shorts.
- Curtains- shortening, lengthening, taking in and new headings, lining.
- Prom dresses and wedding dresses, ballroom gowns.
Prom Dresses
Are you wanting a prom dress that you know no one else is going to have? Have you had this dream since you can remember but have trouble drawing it out? Look no further, I’m here to help. Whether it’s a custom made dress that you’ve been dreaming about forever or you already have you the dress of your dreams but it doesn’t quite fit right. I can help you with both!
Designing your own dress can be very nerve wracking but its really not as bad as you think. We’ll have a chat, I’ll make a sketch and then we can put together a pattern of how you’d like it. Now I don’t go straight in with using your stunning fabric just in case we need to change anything. So, I’ll make a mock dress up in cotton fabric to double check you still love it and that the measurements are perfect to the mm. Then, its show time. I’ll create your dress and make sure that you feel like the belle of the ball as soon as you put it on!
If you’re lucky enough to have found your dream dress already, but its not quite right and you just can’t put your finger on it… it’s often the fit of the dress that can make all the difference and trust me the smallest of changes really can take you to that wow factor. A lift of the shoulder here and a tuck in the bodice there will bring back your confidence and get you feeling a million dollars.
Custom Made Clothing
If you’re anything like me then often clothes fit in one place but not in another and its so frustrating trying to find things that you not only love the look of but feel comfortable in too. Why not lose all the stress of going shopping and come straight to me with whatever clothes you’d love to have. You bring me the idea and I make the magic happen. The process for creating your new wardrobe is quite simple. Follow the steps:
- Bring a picture/ idea in your head of what you want, and I can sketch the item so we can get creating.
- Choose patterns to create the dress from. This can be multiple patterns as I often us the bodice of one with the skit of another and the waistband of a third. However, if I don’t find any to suit then I can simply create it myself.
- Choosing fabric can take some time but I can help you find the look, feel and texture of fabric you really want.
- I make a mock garment out of cotton fabric to double check you like how the item sits and that the measurements are correct.
- Lastly, I bring your masterpiece to life in the gorgeous fabric you have selected.
